I’m Engaged! Where do I start? A wedding stationery timeline from “YES!” To “I Do!”



I SAID YES! - Let’s Get Started

Mazel Tov! You’ve found the one. Relish in your love, joy, excitement! Time to break out the Pinterest boards you’ve lowkey been pinning for years and start thinking about what you want your day to look and feel like.


10-12 Months - Save the Date Consultation

Yay - you’re engaged! Make a list of all your closest friends and family and we’ll create a beautiful announcement to save your special day on their calendar. We advise sending Save the Dates pretty much as soon as possible to ensure your guests will be able to celebrate with you. The Save the Date is the first peek into your event, so let us create a mood and set the tone with your Saves. During the initial consultation, we determine the number of Saves you’ll need, how to work within your budget, and of course the design. Whether you know exactly what you want or have no idea - we can create mood boards and show you examples of ideas that fit your vibe.


8-10 Months - Approve Save the Date Design

Say YES to us too! After chatting and sending ideas back and forth, we combine it all into a perfect piece to represent you as a couple. Once you approve, we follow through, working closely with local printers and calligraphers to make your ideas and dreams a reality.



7-9 Months - Mail Save the Dates

Seal them with a kiss and send off your Save The Dates. This part makes it all feel real, so be sure to take a moment and enjoy being engaged!


5-7 Months - Invitation Consultation

Here comes the fun part! You’re in the thick of planning and by this point you’ve likely found a venue, a beautiful outfit, and started planning your bachelor/ette party. Get whisked away into the process and enjoy every moment. To design your invitations we work with your budget and ideas and create a unique keepsake you and your family will cherish forever. Along with a completely custom Invitation Suite, we recommend creative extras & embellishments including wax seals, ribbon ties, folder pockets, calligraphy details, envelope liners, stickers, feathers, and plenty of other ideas to round out your Invitation Suite as a whole.


4-6 Months - Approve Invitation Design & Finalize Guest List

This likely be the first time you see you and your partners’ names written together as a married couple. It’s a sweet moment we love to be a part of. We go through each aspect of the design with you to ensure every beautiful detail is to your liking. We provide you with an easy-to-use spreadsheet to ensure every guest’s name is addressed correctly. Once we get your design approval and finalized guest list, we get to work and assemble each piece with care.



2-3 Months - Mail Invitations

Let the wax seals set, add some cute stamps, and just wait for all the texts and calls from friends and family about how gorgeous your Invitations are.


2-3 Months - Day-Of Designs & Thank You Cards Consultation

Don’t stress, we got this. Your big day is fast approaching but let us help organize and beautify all the little details you’re managing. By now, we know what you’re looking for and what aspects of previous designs you want to feature. We coordinate all the designs of your Place Cards, Menus, Signs, and Table Numbers with your theme, Invitations and day-of decor. These are the little details your guests will be able to see and feel, so you want each piece to feel special.


1-2 Months - Approve Day-Of Designs & Thank You Cards

We want to bring all your wedding day dreams to life. You’ll be able to visualize the day easier when you see the custom designs we create for you. Once you approve, we get to printing and crafting all your Place Cards, Menus, Signs, and Table Numbers to be perfect and ready for your big day.



1 Month - Finalize RSVP Count

Hopefully all the important people in your life are able to attend! Let us know who’s going and where to seat them. We’ll provide you with an organized spreadsheet to ensure every table number, place card or seating chart is correct.


1-2 Weeks - Day-Of Designs & Thank You Cards Delivered

Just in time for your big day! We can either send the day-of designs off to you or straight to your day-of coordinator if you prefer.


I Do! - Best Wishes & Warmest Regards

Congratulations on your wedding! Now, it’s time to write those thank you cards. Be sure to let us know if you need any other event designs in your new life together.
